Effective August 11, 2026
Privacy, in plain operating language.
This release is a self-hostable project preview, not a claim of regulatory certification. The organization operating a deployment is the controller of its maintenance data.
What Revolution Road processes
Account identifiers, tenant membership, assets, work orders, activity, attachments, device sync metadata, API usage, and operational telemetry needed to provide and secure the service.
Technician shift location
Location is collected only for a Technician who deliberately clocks in. The native apps continue collecting precise location while a working shift is in the background, show the operating system’s location indicator, pause collection during lunch, and stop collection at clock-out. Administrators and Market Presidents can view the recorded shift route. An Administrator may enable a policy that ends a working shift after a 15-minute location gap, or disable that automatic clock-out so the gap remains visible and the shift stays open until manual clock-out.
Retention and sharing
Retention follows the deployment owner’s policy and configured providers. Supabase, the web host, object storage, optional Redis, monitoring, email, and Sentry process only the data required for their configured role. Do not enable an optional provider before reviewing its agreement and region.
Your choices
Administrators can deactivate accounts, revoke sessions, delete profile contact information, export operational records, and apply an approved retention process. A deleted member’s display name remains on submitted work orders and other maintenance or audit history so the organization keeps accurate operating records. Camera, location, notification, persistent-storage, and install permissions remain under device control.
Security and limits
Revolution Road uses tenant row-level security, private attachment storage, signed URLs, append-only evidence, and versioned sync. No system can promise absolute security. Report a suspected issue promptly and avoid placing secrets in contact forms.
